Specter: Novak Libeled Senate Staffer

Senator Arlen Specter is accusing Robert Novak of libeling Ms. Bettilou Taylor, a "top aide on the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services and Education", and whom the Senator describes as "revered". He points out several errors in a recent Novak column regarding a hearing to question Kenneth Tomlinson following the FCC Chairman's attempt to bring more right-wing content to public broadcasting.

Novak, who lost it earlier today and stormed (cursing) off a CNN set, has not yet responded to the charges.
