My wife works in environmental protection. She attended a conference recently and returned with a bag full of give-aways for our children. Her choice of gifts included the usual pens and calendars. Then there were the four green foam hand grenade replicas (identical to the photo). These never made it to our 4 year old twins: "no war equipment in our home!" I sputtered.
It was amazing enough that she chose them, but even more stunning that a vendor considered these an attractive remembrance to the environmental crowd.
