Students Suspended for Long Hair

A school in Texas has suspended four students because they didn't cut their hair over the Christmas holiday. The school's dress code, which is meant in part to "teach respect for authority", says boys hair cannot extend beyond the collar. If the students refuse to cut their hair, they may be expelled.

"Persistent insubordination could go as far as a disciplinary alternative school placement. That's the worst case."
