Army Suicides Highest in 26 Years
A new military report says the suicide rate among Army soldiers is the highest in 26 years, with a quarter of the deaths occurring while on duty in Iraq or Afghanistan."In addition, there was a significant relationship between suicide attempts and number of days deployed" in Iraq, Afghanistan or nearby countries where troops are participating in the war effort, it said.
